Welcome everybody to the CodeNewbie Community!

Whale jumping out of the ocean and showing it's fin, the words "Whale hello there" appear on screen

  1. Leave a comment below to introduce yourself! You can talk about what brought you here, what you're learning, or just a fun fact about yourself.

P.S. If you have a technical question, you've come to the right place! Use the #help tag in a new post to ask the community for assistance with writing your first line of code, picking a tool to use for a particular project, or anything else. No question is too basic.

Hi, newbies! I'm Justina and I am currently learning Flutter and front-end web development with the hopes of gaining a new skillset and transitioning to a development role in my career. I've had some experience in programming but never pursued it in college or as a career and it is a milestone that I would love to accomplish! I hope to learn, collaborate, share my knowledge, and become involved in the developer community.

Hi newbies!

I'm Austin. I've been learning web development for the last six months or so and the Code Newbie podcast has been on constant rotation on my Spotify. I love the content - motivational, educational, and always high quality!

My goal is to change careers and land a web development job. I spent most of my 20's as a working musician and audio engineer before moving into a logistics/operations role at a coffee roastery. Although I'm relatively new to the "traditional" career path, I've always had an interest in tech and programming. I built my own PCs in high school and learned the tiniest bit of Python while on the road between shows as a musician.

I'd love to get involved in the online (and IRL!) community of developers, designers, hackers, and codejunkies. I'd love to collaborate on projects big or small!
