Too many senior devs look down on mentoring others and it is wild. I remember before the pandemic going to a meetup at Choice Hotels, hearing a senior dev at a company, stand up in front of everyone and say he loves to make jr devs cry at code reviews?! Which is nuts to hear but happens often.
I am lucky to have gone to a bootcamp with a senior dev who loves helping others. If there is a code issue or something you wanted to try, he never said that is dumb or no. Just let's give it a try!
I am learning Java now because why not! This industry is fun and the learning never stops.
