I just finished my reading and wanted to give some feedback! I organized my points into: 🟩 good comments, 🟨 some suggestions, and πŸŸ₯ critical points or errors I found.

  • 🟩 I like the bolded words to give the main idea of the article and other important parts of paragraphs. You have a good balance of making the important information readable and easy to find against the rest of the information.
  • 🟨 The introduction goes off in two different ways without any transitions or headings: first, I’m reading about components then, about how and why Vue is so popular. I would get readers in with the popularity of Vue then at the beginning of the technical explanations, I would talk about the components.
  • 🟩 I liked the links and mentions of your other works. It gives more credibility as well as more engagement with your readers!
  • In the second section: β€œcontext on the code examples in this article” there are two critiques:
    • 🟨 The heading is too long / wordy in my opinion
    • πŸŸ₯ Also you have in the second sentence: β€œOtherwise, it will be good for u stay on and …” there should be a β€œyou” instead of β€œu”.
  • 🟩 I like the use of numbered sections to keep the bigger sections organized.
  • 🟨 There were more fun and useful emojis used near the end but not as much in the beginning. I think for even headings, having that consistency would be nice if that’s the design-route you wish to present.
  • πŸ’š Overall, the content seems very useful and goes into great depth on the subject. I am a total #codenewbie when it comes to React and Vue so I couldn’t really understand a lot of the terms and procedures. If your audience is for someone who is familiar with those frameworks, then I think you’re on a great track. If you’re trying to bring in newbies like me, I’m getting lost without some simpler explanations.

I hoped my input helped somewhat! I'll be looking forward to the finished article. I got a lot of insight of your writing style and design from this which helps me out to find ways to make my own better πŸ˜„

Thank you Khloe for the great feedback!

I'll work on the 🟨, πŸŸ₯ points that you have brought up. They are very helpful :D

I was trying to fit the points into the format of the template hehe so that's why the emojis were quite absent initially and that's also why the introduction also feels off and going into 2 different ways. I will stick less to it and make it more fluent like your tips :P
