Hi, McKenna!

The graphic you shared looks fantastic! (So is your cover illustration!)

I've also struggled with meeting goals lately. I haven't figured out yet if it's just because I'm being too ambitious when setting them, or if I just don't have a grasp yet of how long things will take me. Hopefully, I'll figure it out soon!

I really enjoyed the Documentation episode with Eddie Hinkle too. I need to start documenting my code now so that it's just a habit by the time I actually break into tech.

I've been thinking about reading Eloquent JavaScript - are you enjoying it? Or at least, finding it worthwhile in addition to the other courses you're doing?

And lastly, I played Gift of Tulips with my mom a few months ago - it was fun! I love how beautiful the cards are. Witchstone is another fun and nice to look at game! (My version of Catan is not really nice to look at in the same way as the others, but we've had a lot of fun nights playing it.)

Hi Misty! Thank you! I personally think that I am being a little too ambitious haha...

I am liking Eloquent JavaScript. It is reinforcing some JS concepts and introducing new ones that I did not know about. It also has exercises at the end of the chapters which have also been fun to do. You can access a digital version for free here: eloquentjavascript.net/

I demoed Gift of the Tulips at Gen Con in August, and I didn't think I would like it at first. But the more I taught it, the more I liked it! It's really beautiful and I love the little meeples :) 🌷
