Our study group is asynchronous, and I guess it's less of a study group and more a place to document what you're working on and get encouragement. We comment on each other's progress and share whatever resources we think will be helpful.

Robert would have to explain to you why he chose the template he did and all the philosophy behind it. If you do want to share your progress, you just go to the page and click "New Issue". From there it's pretty straightforward, you just fill out the pre-defined sections.

When it comes to Python, I am a complete newb. I'm just getting started. I've never looked into Django, so yes, I'm interested in the links you have.

As for my plans: I haven't committed to a framework yet. I am going through the Foundations path of The Odin Project. I'm in an exploratory mode with web dev at this point, so you'll have to excuse me for not having the most concrete of goals/plans.

I'm up for a Google chat. I'll message you.
