Discussion on: How to gain experience as a UX Designer?

I'd advice on the following

• Practicing exploratively. This encompasses everything from doing user research, brainstorming, applying the human Centered Design process and innovative thinking. Designing is all about designating meaning. It is therefore what you want it to be. You are free to chart your path and explore widely. That is what makes you stand out as a designer.
• Collaboration. I would also advice on collaboration. Learning the art of communication; both through your work and also just relaying a message between teammates. It is a great skill to have as a designer.
