Hi, I wrote a 6 part series on how I built new web pages for our condominium using React, Gatsby, Chakra UI, Contentful (headless CMS) and Auth0. In part 5 and 6 I describe how I built a user admin dashboard for the web site with Auth0s Management API and Gatsby Functions. Hope you like it! :-)

Hey hey! Thanks for sharing this! Just wanted to let you know that in order for a post to make an author eligible for an award, the post must be shared here on CodeNewbie Community and be geared towards beginners. Thanks!

Just to be clear, are importing original articles written before this month fair game? Does "between the first and last day of the month" only refer to the article's release date on this site?

Collapse

gracie profile image
Gracie Gregory (she/her)

Yep! For the moment, that's totally fair game as we're getting this community up and running. We might change this to only "articles published during a given month" once we're more established πŸ˜‰

Gracie Gregory (she/her)

Yes! For now, you can import original articles originally written before January 2021 :)

What does "Share an original article here" mean? Do I have to write a post on Codenewbie or just post a link to my post from other websites here?

Collapse

gracie profile image
Gracie Gregory (she/her)

Hi! Thanks for asking. The post should be cross-posted in full here to the CodeNewbie Community, written by you, with the original location of posting disclosed via hyperlink. So a post just containing a link would not be elligible.

...however, we require a minimum word count of 500.

Does code snippets count?

Collapse

gracie profile image
Gracie Gregory (she/her)

Good question! We ask that code snippets are included as a supplement rather than counting towards the total length of your post.

All you need to do is post your writing here on CodeNewbie Forem! Although posting your work on social media and/or embedding on other sites is always encouraged!

As long as you post the article you wrote here on CodeNewbie in full (disclosing the original location of posting via hyperlink) that's fair game!
