Hey, I just started self teaching code a month ago and after unsuccessfully convincing any of my friends or family to join me I've joined here to find people. I'm leaving the medical field for the much greener pastures of software development. I failed Pascal class in High School, so far this is turning out alot differently.
Welcome Ari! I'm glad that you're able to go ahead even if it means going it alone (which makes me more glad you're here).
Thanks! Atleast I am going. I did manage to convince my not so little sister (20) to try FreeCodeCamp and she is hooked. I wasn't sure...but when she uninstalled league of legends I knew it was for real. It takes alot to break that addiction.
Hello. My name is Ralph. I'm too old to be wasting any more time with my life. I wish to make code my career and I'm hoping CodeNewbie will help me find and keep my motivation and help me go through the difficulty of learning code. I'm starting off with Python. Where on the website can one learn Python? After I learn it, I'll see where my interests reside.
Thank you for this platform. I'm here to make a schedule for my life, do better for myself, stop living in this mental prison and make friends along the way.
Welcome Ralph! I don't know if there's any good directions to where to start learning here, but you might go through posts with the tutorial tag and bookmark some stuff that you find interesting.

A CPU bottleneck happens when your computerβs processor (CPU) is slower than the other parts, like the graphics card (GPU). This means the CPU cannot keep up with the work the other parts are doing, which can make games or programs run slower. If the CPU is the bottleneck, upgrading it or using settings that reduce its workload can help your computer run more smoothly.

Hello! My name is Mellisha, (MEL-LEE-SHA) and I was referred to codenewbie from a friend when I told her that I was interested in tech and coding. I am familiar with SPSS and somewhat familiar with R, and I am looking to become more proficient in those languages as well as Python. I'm looking forward to joining the community here at codenewbie. <3
Welcome Mellisha! π
Hey everyone! Iβm really excited to be here and learn with you all. Iβve been tinkering with PC hardware lately and noticed how often FPS drops or slow game load times are actually due to a bottleneck. If you ever want to test whether your CPU or GPU is holding you back, Iβve found the bottleneck checker super helpfulβit shows exactly where performance is limited and helps you decide what to upgrade first.
Hey there! It's been a few months since I have started my coding journey. And I am looking for more and more opportunities to learn problem solving and software development.
Welcome Debjit! I've enjoyed seeing people's tutorials and demos here, which have given me new thoughts and ideas related to software development.
