This is really cool! Great, well thought out tutorial.

I wish I had something like this when I was working through the current book I'm learning from: they introduced using MySQL with Django. For an introductory book on Django, they sure did leave a lot for me to figure out on my own (like configuring the settings.py file). But, it did teach me a little about the XAMPP stack and phpMyAdmin and I had to figure something out myself.

Cool, It really came handy for my first few tasks in the current internship. I just thought it might be handy for someone, just expressed the learnings as it is.
