The main features, I try to reach with Ōnsu are mainly:

• weak homoionicity
• support on heterogenous systems
• optional type-system (for increasing the effective speed)
• be a dynamic language on the JVM, but to still be as fast as other commercial languages
• and to have an excellent interop with other jvm langs

However this is all still in the early development stage!
