Setup Linksys Extender Using The WPS Button

There are three different ways to set up a Linksys extender, but only one of them requires a login to the extender. This technique uses the WPS protocol and just requires you to use and press the extender's and router's WPS buttons. However, you must have a compatible WPS button on the router in order to carry out this procedure, so double-check this first. Pick this approach first if there is a button on the router. Check the functionality of both devices, whether they are turned on or not, as well. Once the connection has been established, press the same WPS buttons on both panels. You can do that to configure your extender without going to the portal and Linksys extender login. Further, be aware of the WPS connection and work by keeping checking the LED indication and color.
