I am on the JavaScript Advocacy team (and you can find me @nitya on Twitter or Discord as well) - Microsoft absolutely does have tech positions for all levels of experience and backgrounds. What kind of role are you looking for? There are engineering and project management roles but also content creation and advocacy. PS. Learning Typescript is a good thing.

I mostly use Javascript. I also use React, Node, Webpack, TailwindCss, and I am learning Typescript.
