Hi Everyone,
I am seeking advice to get into a career as a Web Developer. I recently graduated with a degree in arts and want to pursue a tech career, specifically in Web Development.
Here’s my situation:
I don’t have a tech-related degree, but I’m eager to learn and put in the effort.
My coding experience is minimal, and my math skills aren’t strong.
I can dedicate 6-7 hours a day to learning through various online resources.
My main concerns are:
- Have I chosen the right career for me?
- What are the most crucial skills and technologies I should focus on to become a good Web Developer?
- Are there comprehensive roadmaps you would recommend for someone starting in this field?
- How can I maximize my employability without a formal tech-related degree?
I want your honest feedback on my decision. Please share your thoughts, as this will help me reconsider the possibility of pursuing web development.
I am currently reading a couple of Web Development roadmaps to understand how to become a web developer.
If you have any recommendations for roadmaps, please do share.
Thanks for your help!
