DMG Radio has recently been received in almost all of Southeast Brabant via the Ziggo media box on channel 918. Since the end of March, Ziggo no longer transmits radio stations via cable, but when you choose the Ziggo radio page on your TV, you can keep listening to different radio stations.
To listen to DMG with the Ziggo media box, press the 'radio' button on your remote control. Then choose 'all radio stations' and search for DMG Deurne on channel 918. After selecting DMG Deurne, press the 'OK' button and the media box will play the radio signal from DMG via your TV. If you have the Next media box from Ziggo, you will find DMG under 'Local Broadcasters'.
Car radio
You can also listen to DMG Radio in the Deurne region with a portable radio, clock radio or in the car via 106.2 FM. You can listen to the DMG radio station online via various apps from TuneIn, for example, but also via dmgdeurne.nl and via the DMG app , which can be downloaded for free in Google Play and the App Store. If you use Google's Nest Hub or Nest Mini or a speaker with Alexa and want to listen to DMG, say "Hey Google (or Alexa) turn on DMG Radio". Your smart speaker will then play DMG Radio.
Wire antenna
People in the municipality of Deurne who want to continue to listen to DMG Radio on their stereo system that was previously connected to the Ziggo cable, are advised to disconnect the coaxial cable that is now connected between the radio and the socket in the wall. Then you purchase a wire antenna that is available for about three euros at various electronics stores but also online . Then you connect that antenna to the connector of your radio to which the coaxial cable was first connected and you can listen to DMG Radio again, but via the terrestrial frequency 106.2 FM.
Other providers
In the course of this year, DMG Radio can not only be listened to via the TV at Ziggo, but also at all other providers via the TV channel where you can find all radio stations together. “We are already busy behind the scenes preparing for this,” explains DMG chairman Iwan Gijsbers. “Until a few months ago, we could reach up to 80% of all residents of Deurne with Ziggo's radio transmission via cable, but due to the arrival of fiber optic in the municipality, listeners have become much more dispersed and have joined other providers.”
Huge costs
“So where before we could reach almost everyone via cable, we now have to deliver our signal to the nearly thirty providers that are active in our municipality. Due to the advent of fiber optic, we are now forced to opt for a very expensive construction in order to still be able to reach our listeners. We will of course do that despite the enormous costs involved because the listener is the most important thing to us,” explains the chairman of DMG.

Below you will find the various current options for listening to DMG Radio.
- Through the television. If you have digital television from Ziggo, you can also listen to the radio on TV. How that works depends on the connected media box. You can read how this is done with Ziggo's step -by-step plan. This is a free option. It does require some skill with setting. DMG Radio can be found on channel 918 in the radio menu.
- With an FM antenna. Ziggo customers can order a free antenna cable . The signal you receive goes through the ether or through the air. An easy and free option, you will receive DMG Radio immediately on 106.2 FM. You can also listen to DMG via 106.2 FM via portable radios, clock radios and car radios with FM reception.
- With a digital radio receiver. You can also buy a digital receiver at Ziggo , which costs 50 euros. The device connects to your current stereo system. DMG Radio can be found on the digital radio receiver on channel 918.
- Buy a new digital internet radio. Numerous models are for sale through electronics stores and web shops. You will then receive DMG Radio via TuneIn , for example .
- Via the Internet. Tens of thousands of stations from all over the world can be found online, including well-known stations such as Radio 1 to Radio 6, BNR, Radio 10 Q-Music or DMG Radio . You can simply listen to these via the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone. You can also receive DMG with the DMG app , which can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store.
