Hey CodeNewbie community! π
I'm currently learning web development (mostly HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), and Iβve been thinking about starting a small passion project β a browser-based farming sim inspired by Stardew Valley. Nothing too fancy at first β just basic farming, a simple day/night cycle, and maybe a few interactive NPCs later on.
I also run a small fan website called stardewvalleyapkfree.com, where I write about the game, guides, and platform-specific versions. That site has been a big motivation for me to try building something of my own from scratch.
The plan is to build something playable right in the browser using vanilla JavaScript or a simple framework like Phaser.js. Just curious β would any of you be interested in trying out a rough prototype once itβs ready? I'd love feedback from fellow beginners and devs!
Also, if anyone here has tips for game loops, grids, or storing save data in-browser, feel free to drop advice!
Thanks in advance! π
