What are your coding goals? My hope is to become a backend dev so getting comfortable with Python is a must. Ultimately, I want to become competent enough to switch careers within the year.
What does successful learning look like to you? Being able to teach it to another, my goal is to teach my nephew. In addition, successful learning really looks like lots of discipline and finidng joy in the process. Sounds cliche, but truly trusting the process and celebrating my progress is it.
How do you plan to measure your success? As many have mentioned, with practice will come ease and in that ease, I will find comfort. So I plan on measuring my success by gauging my comfort level and anxiety. Also, more practically, I plan to measure it by finally finishing a couple of courses I keep leaving on the wayside :/
Do you have any particular timeline/deadline for learning to code? I want to be in a very different position by this time next year. I'd give myself a year to become proficient. BUT I am so curious to see what I can do from here to August.
