Hey Lala,

There are a lot of knowledgeable, friendly, supportive people here in the CodeNewbie community. There are also a lot of great Discord and Slack communities, as well as amazing accounts on Twitter to follow.

It all depends on what you want to learn, the types of questions that you have, and what you're looking for.

I could post a bunch of things, but I'll go with these:

  • Here to Help is a list of volunteers who are willing to offer their services for free. It's everything from technical coding questions to mock interviews for jobs. It contains a list of names and contact info.
  • Zahra (@icycodes on Twitter) is launching a Slack group and Zoom meetups for women in tech/coding. If you are interested, I can get you connected to the group.
  • Danny Thompson (@dthompsondev on Twitter) runs a Discord group for people learning to code called Commit Your Code. You can access it via the link on his Twitter profile.

Those are just a few of the places to find support and fellow coders. If there's something specific that you're looking for, please feel free to ask.

Welcome!
