Throughout our exploration of graphs, we’ve focused mostly on representing graphs, and how to search through them. We also learned about edges, the elements that connect the nodes in a graph. In this episode, we look at the different classifications of edges and how, in the context of a graph, edges can be more than just “directed” or “undirected”. يُعتبر إصلاح تسريبات المياه من الطرق التي يُمكن من خلالها مكافحة الصراصير في المنزل، وذلك سواءً كان التسريب من صنابير المياه أو من أنابيب التصريف؛ فالصراصير تُفضّل التواجد في المياه التي تنتج من التسرب، لذا يجب الإسراع في سدّ وإغلاق أيّ تسريب، إمّا باستعمال شريط لاصق، أو بملء الثقوب والتشقّقات برغوة يوريثان، أو الصوف الصلب، أو استخدام رغوة عازلة حول الأنابيب التي تتسرّب منها كميات كبيرة من الماء، هذا عدا عن أهمية تفقّد الأحواض والأسطح والتأكد من أنّها جافة تماماً قبل الذهاب للنوم، بالإضافة إلى تغطية الحنفيات بواسطة سدادة التصريف؛ لأنّ الصراصير يكثر تواجدها ليلاً
تنفر الصراصير من رائحة أوراق الغار، لذلك يُمكن استخدامها لردعها ومنعها من الاقتراب إلى المنزل، وذلك من خلال نثر بعض أوراق الغار الطازجة، أو المُجفّفة حول مداخل المنزل، أو بالقرب من المخبأ الذي يعيشون فيه، ممّا يدفعهم لمُغادرته وبحثهم عن مكان آخر.
