Instead of listing every app that uses AI, AgentExchange is shifting toward agentforce solutions that deliver clearer value inside Salesforce.

How AgentExchange Changed from April to May 2025

After a big jump in April, May brought slower but more focused changes on AgentExchange Salesforce. The number of apps increased slightly from 80 to 83, but what really stands out is the shift in direction. Nine apps were removed from the agentforce section, and 14 new ones were added. These were not recycled listings, most had no reviews, which suggests they were actual product launches, not just marketing updates.

AgentExchange continued to grow in May, but at a slower pace than the previous month. The number of listed apps increased from 80 to 83, showing a modest 3.75% rise. Meanwhile, the number of developers slightly declined from 73 to 71, suggesting a cleanup or reorganization of existing agentforce apps rather than a surge of new entries.

Even with smaller growth, the platform is showing signs of maturity. Some apps were removed from the agentforce section, and several new ones appeared. Many of these are real Salesforce AI applications built to automate processes and improve workflows directly inside Salesforce.

Sales apps are still the largest category, but the slight drop suggests companies are becoming more selective. Finance apps grew by 37.5%, which shows a growing interest in Salesforce AI tools that support financial planning, billing, and forecasting. Productivity tools remain stable, continuing to play a key role in helping teams automate everyday tasks.
