Hey everyone, has anyone actually had good luck meeting genuine local guys through dating apps? I keep matching with people who either live super far away or never want to meet up in person, and it’s getting kind of frustrating. I’m wondering if there are any tricks or ways to make sure you’re only seeing people who are actually nearby and serious about meeting up?

One thing I found useful: use a site like OnaDate (check this site) that boasts geolocation matching and nearby options. Then, very early in chatting ask: “Hey, say you’re nearby — what part of town are you from?” If their answer is vague or they don’t want to meet up soon, it’s a red flag. Keep your standards clear: you’re matching to meet IRL, not just chat for weeks. That filter makes a big difference.
