Hello lovely people, I'm Mattia, Italian based in London. I've been learning front-end (UX-UI-HTML-CSS-JS) for a while now, and I love it. I have a full time job not related to tech (project manager for an event company), and at 38 years of age, I find it hard to understand the best path into coding. I've finally decided to put this out there, and I would be happy to connect with like-minded people, sharing thoughts, and ideas! Ciao :)

Hello there Matvedian! I spent a week in London a few years back and absolutely loved it. I'm in the same boat - I've been into coding for a while but don't currently have a coding job. There are several paths out there that are available to you - bootcamps, self-learning, part or full time classes, or a mix of all. The CodeNewbie podcast has a lot of episodes where people describe their experience. The important thing I've come away with is that there is not "one way" to do it.
Me personally, I've been doing self study while working. I think a bootcamp is in my future, however right now I've spent a lot of time on freeCodeCamp and App Academy Open.
Welcome to the CodeNewbie community Matvedian! 👋
