Good luck on the apprenticeship application! 🤞 🤞 🤞

I am legitimately dreading filling out my LinkedIn profile when the time comes (which will be sooner than later, I know). I wish I wouldn’t have been avoiding LinkedIn for all these years, but starting sort of from scratch will be nice, too, I guess?

Moonfall has been on my list to watch. I’d been waiting for a time to watch with my partner, but it sounds like it might be best to just watch on my own. Unless it’s 80s action movies, his tolerance for bad movies is much lower than mine. 🤣

I haven’t contributed to any opensource projects yet, but I absolutely want to soon.

I like the Dev Morning Show (at Night) (also available as a video), and WebJoy - for some other podcasts to check out.

I enjoyed The Lost City (self-aware rom-com) and The Black Phone (horror/suspense) recently. Haven’t seen many movies recently, since I’ve been trying to code each evening. I’m a huge horror movie fan, though, and hope I can watch several in the time leading up to Halloween. There’s plenty of bad movies awaiting me in that genre!

Do you already have an idea for the technical blog post you want to write?

Hi Misty! My partner also has a low tolerance for bad movies, and they caught the last 30 minutes of Moonfall and were so grumpy about it LOL. So yea, perhaps a solo viewing would be best.

I like horror, but The Black Phone might be too much for me. I wish I could cope with watching horror better, because I really want to watch a lot of things, but my brain just thinks it's all real.

I just started listening to the the Dev Morning Show (at Night) and really enjoy it. Have you noticed that every guest they have has the advice to code a project first and get it working then go back and refactor? I need to take that advice in my own projects haha

I am working on a technical blog post about how to link your codesandbox projects to github, and how to make sure the github repository updates along with the changes you make. I just need to set aside more time to finish it.
