I’m helping onboard some junior developers, and Postman feels a bit overwhelming for them with all its features. I’m looking for an API testing tool that’s user-friendly but still powerful enough for serious testing.
Any suggestions? Preferably something with built-in docs or an easy learning curve.

For beginners in API testing, Postman is often considered one of the best tools due to its user-friendly interface and powerful features. It allows testers to easily send requests, analyze responses, and automate tests. Additionally, PAJSK Login offers a simple platform for API integration testing, making it a great choice for newcomers.
I’d suggest looking into something more lightweight and intuitive, but still powerful enough for serious testing. There are a few tools out there that strike a better balance—some even have mock server support and automated testing built right in.
I totally get this! Postman is powerful, but for junior devs, it can feel a bit overwhelming with all the menus and features.
I’ve had a good experience with Apidog—it’s much more user-friendly but still has all the essential testing features. It also comes with:
✅ Built-in API documentation (super helpful for onboarding)
✅ Intuitive UI – easy for beginners to pick up
✅ Collaboration tools – great for team workflows
Another option could be Hoppscotch if you want something browser-based and minimalistic, but it’s not as full-featured as Apidog.
