Codeland Hallway Chat - What's your favorite Notebook + Pens?

I've started getting into bullet journaling recently as a combination for creative outlet, tracking habits, and recording favorite moments/memories!

I've tried a few digital todo lists (Read about my Todoist Experience here) but no digital experience can quite match the feeling of writing in a physical notebook for me.

Do you have a favorite notebook/journal? Favorite writing utensil? Always looking for new recommendations to try!

I love journals so I am trying to use notebooks from my collection as bullet journals. The current one I'm using is a moleskine notebook, but in the past I used to use journals I got from the Disney Store. They are lined notebooks so they might not be the best for bullet journals, but I still make them work for me.

For pens, I like using the Pigma Micron 05 fine line pens. I got them from a craft store in a set so I like using the different colors for different headings. In the past, I used old Disney stickers I have saved to decorate journal pages.

I've started adding some sticker decorations in my journals and it's such a fun way to add some "pop" to the pages!

I'm a lefty, so I use fine or extra fine points to minimize the ink that ends up on the side of my hand! Because of this very reason, I avoided gel pens like the plague. I used Pentel R.S.V.P.'s for many years: they're great pens, but once I got ahold of an extra fine point Pilot Precise v5, I haven't looked back!

I'm subscribed here! Never feel like I have a notebook I love. But I feel like they must be out there.

Currently I'm using a dotted journal from the discount shelf at a local craft store and Papermate inkjoy gel pens (0.7mm) since they come in lots of colors!
