CS50 - Week 0

I recently started the CS50 course at Harvard University and let me tell you, it's been a real "scratch" (see what I did there?). But seriously, the course has been great so far.

In the first week (well more week 0), we had an introduction to Computer Science and also, our professor showed us how to put those concepts into practice using a tool called Scratch.

For those of you who don't know, Scratch is a visual programming language that allows you to create programs by dragging and dropping blocks of instructions. It's like playing with virtual Legos, but way cooler because you can make your own video games. I found it to be very similar to a tool I used in the past called RPG Maker.

I'm looking forward to continuing to practice and learn more about computer science and programming in future lessons.

Hi chaos17, are you doing it as a part of regular education or a remote course?
Would be intersting to hear how you progress.
Good Luck
