Welcome, one and all to the CodeNewbie Community!

Penguin waving hi

  1. Leave a comment below to introduce yourself! You can talk about what brought you here, what you're learning, or just a fun fact about yourself.

  2. Make some new friends by responding to another newbie's comment 👋 Feel free to follow one another, too!

P.S. If you have a technical question, you've come to the right place! Use the #help tag in a new post to ask the community for assistance with writing your first line of code, picking a tool to use for a particular project, or anything else. No question is too basic.

Hello! My name is Mike and I've been learning web development for nearly a year now. Great to find a community of like-minded people and hope to collaborate with folks some day! I've been working on a website for people to share their texts left on read, and blogging about it helps me problem solve and figure out where to take it next. Hope to eventually work in the field.

Prince-Alarming

Hi all, my online nickname is Prince Alarming. I'm an old school Coder (90's). I consider myself a beginner because I'm currently updating my skillset to current industry standard. I did start a portfolio website that did host my old 90's websites. It's nowhere near complete. Try to keep in mind my intentions of the portfolio site is to show what I did back then and not have the website up to current day standard. Here's the the url:
