Hi Fellow CodeNewbies,
I am Denis and I am based in the USA. To be specific Minneapolis, Minnesota. Though I actively participate in CodeNewbies twitter chat by answering questions and engaging with people, it is my first time here. I am happy to be here and I am excited to participate in this challenge starting with the writing challenge. Though the challenge started several days ago, I wasn't fully ready to start the challenge until this weekend. I am still going to do it. It's better late than never. It is great to meet you all.
Hi Denis, welcome and enjoy the challenge! 😃
Thank you! :)
Hi Denis,
I am also in the states, north-east.
How is the political 'weather' in Minneapolis? Did it seem like touch and go for a while?

I'm learning TypeScript and attempting to learn Python (not sure if it's a great idea to learn so many things in the meantime lol). Glad to find this community and the positivity here is glowing ✨ and so nice to see so many developers from all over the world!

Hi everyone!
I'm Sobrina and I live in the United States. Excited to try out this challenge , increase my knowledge and create some apps. I'm self taught and know a bit of Java, Javascript, CSS, HTML. Recently took a course in Python and am now taking a C# course.
Hi!
I'm so excited to be surrounded by you. My name is Taryn(they/them), but I'm better known as Tron ;). I live in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from the Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy in October! Since then I've been burying my brain in data structures and algorithms to prepare for interviews, and feel that my overall coding/projects have suffered a bit. So this is my attempt to start a consistent practice! My stack is JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js/Express, PostreSQL, and Sequelize ORM. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Hi Jason:
I'm 54 and learning Full Stack Development to make a career change. We "seasoned coders" will all learn together! :-)
I am also a non traditional student learning to code. That's great.
Greetings, Code Newbies!
As you can see, I'm Dan. :) At age 42 I've decided to make a career change from welder to programmer. I've been learning JavaScript, CSS, React, Bootstrap, SASS, for the past eight months, and will be digging in to TypeScript and Ruby next.
I look forward to getting to know my fellow newbies. Feel free to reach out!
Cheers!

Hello! I'm Sabine. I'm from Germany 🇩🇪 and live in the Southeastern United States.
I've been listening to the CodeNewbie podcast for a couple of years and joined the CodeNewbie Community earlier this year, but only started engaging in it after I joined the CodeNewbie Challenge - Start Coding. This is not my first time learning to code. I start coding - and running🏃♀️- like others quit smoking. I hope this time it's for good!
