I took a solo trip to San Francisco because the city seemed like a fun place based on what I saw from lifestyle vlogs (I didn't care for the tech scene and I was a business school grad student who knew nothing about coding 🤷🏻♀️). Long story short, I got photobombed by a group of software engineering interns, grabbed coffee with one of them and asked him to tell me about his job. All it took was one glance at his screen (at that time I didn't even know I was looking at something called a code editor 😂) for me to think "omg this looks cool, I have absolutely no clue what I am looking at but I want to learn how to do this". Once I flew back home, I taught myself HTML/CSS/JS, loved it... and the rest is history. 😄
that is an awesome story!
