What are you studying in college?
also more than happy to answer any questions you have about Jamstack or Headless CMSs
Hey! I am studying Computer Science in college. I want to be a fullstack developer but I'm still exploring various fields where I can give my best to the community.
As soon as I heard the word Jamstack I jumped to the jamstack website to learn more about it. Thanks for your reply.
It's my second open source event and I do love the fact that how interactive the community is to help the beginners.
Nice, all the best with the studies!!
So happy to have helped, the Jamstack is super cool.

Why did you become a developer? 💡
I've always been a maker, I have degrees in Fine Arts, and as I explored more digital mediums I was introduced to web development. I wound up really enjoying it and slowly make the shift to working in Software development.
What's your content experience, have you used a CMS? 💬
I have worked with a couple CMSs, I used Strapi to build out a quick prototype, but I's probably need to go through the docs to set something up again.
Have you ever heard of Headless CMS? Strapi? Jamstack tools?
I have heard of Strapi and as I mentioned before I got to play with it, but I am no expert and enjoy exploring new concepts.
Interesting and hows the shift going from Fine arts to software development?
When did you last use Strapi? We have been adding a lot of features and we will be soon release the V4. If you plan on exploring more with Strapi, I'd suggest signing up for the Welcome kit to receive some tutorials and resources to help you get started again.
When I was getting my MFA, I tough a project about collection and while it was rudimentary, the course required the students to present their collection in a web format using iweb, which is what initially got me interested in building web sits, but then I want the sites I was building to do more which led me to learning javascript bit by bit and taking classes to understand a bit more. Hanging out with local meetups, but in my mind there isn't much difference between software development and creating art, because in the end you are still making something that you enjoy.
We've been using NextJS in my current projects, but I'll have to take a look at Strapi again, soon.
Love meetups, great way to learn!
Also Next.js is amazing! We have a tonne of resources on getting started with Next.js and Strapi | one of our popular ones
OH neat! I'll need to take a look at that!
Hi Strapi 👋
Why did you become a developer? 💡
I have always loved to build things. Learned some HTML/CSS as a child but was never able to learn how to code. Life happened and, as I was about to turn 30 and unhappy with the career path I had been led to, decided to follow what I wanted to be as a child (: I'm a second semester undergrad student and have just began on my first Junior Developer job.
What's your content experience, have you used a CMS? 💬
Only Wordpress and not as a dev, but as a desperate teen pushing buttons and trying to make it work without knowing how to code lol
Have you ever heard of Headless CMS? Strapi? Jamstack tools? 🤔
Nope, this is the first time I hear about it, and I'm looking forward to learn more on how it works.

You can never go wrong with pleasing your inner child! Also, huge congratulations, first job is a big deal. How are you finding it?
Haha I can relate the the desperate teen thing! Also happy to help with your Headless CMSs journey, hope the resources help!
Hi, Daniel! I'm loving it, thanks for asking - it's both challenging and rewarding, exactly what I was looking for when I decided to switch careers. I love seeing things that I built working, and the path to build those things is what makes me going.

How's the bootcamp experience?
I really enjoyed it! I went with a part time which was 10 month with 5 mods each one being 2 months long. I have learned more though the bootcamp then I would have ever self taught myself. I ended up with 5 full projects at the end and I'm working on finishing up my last one right now. Now I need to take on the hardest part and working on getting that first dev job. Flatiron will pare you with a career coach to help you get your first job. Right now where working on finishing up my resume so I can start handing it out everywhere
Why did you become a devloper?
Here's a question. Why do we study? Some will say "to make sure that we have some kind of survival tool" and some will say for the love of the subject they like the most. For me, the second view holds true. I was initially into competitive coding but my mind changed and I got into development when I realized that I was just coding and competing with others while creating no value from my skill for the community.
What's your content experience, have you used a CMS?
I have some experience using Wordpress as I am currently using it to build my website.
Have you ever heard of Headless CMS? Strapi? Jamstack tools?
This event is where I heard about headless CMS for the first time and I am sure that it is going to be amzing to learn and use it.

Thanks for sharing Britanny!!
So many people feel they need to have amazing math skills to be good at or even consider a career like this. I'm sure you sharing this gives them something to think about!!
Oooh looks like you've got quite some experience with CMSs. what problems are hoping CMSs have solved as you get into exploring others?
A big thing for me is the content editor experience, but also tempering that with accessibility. It's a complex area to populate with robust solutions, especially since accessibility is so dependent on context.
Content management systems that build with accessibility in mind from day 1 are very rare and I'd love to support those that do!
Why did you become a developer? 💡
I used to love Maths, Science and Technology in my school time. And I chose Computer Science as my major in college as I used to love solving problems specially mathematical problems and was curious about how different websites are created, how softwares are developed. I started with web development in my 2nd year and from then onwards I started building webpages and maintaining websites. I like how programming allows us to develop new softwares and create whatever we want. And that's how I became a Software Developer.
What's your content experience, have you used a CMS? 💬
It's been only two months that I have started working as a Software Developer but I am new to CMS.

I've always been passionate about technology and design, and that's what got me into web development. I really love doing mockups and UI designs first and do the whole process properly and then code it to create projects. Integration of design and web development is the reason I'm an aspiring web developer right now.
What's your content experience, have you used a CMS? 💬
Yes, back on my internship, our company mainly uses WordPress to create websites and for CMS as the company has a event blogs.
Have you ever heard of Headless CMS? Strapi? Jamstack tools? 🤔
I've heard about the terms but I'm not knowledgeable on implementing these technologies yet.
Hello Felix,
Nice to meet you.

👋 Hi, there! Great to be here in the Hallway with @strapijs !
🎯 I never imagined i'd end up in the tech community after i discovered my love for Android ROM flashing/modding/rooting almost a decade ago! But here i am, a newbie web developer hoping to make it big in the Cybersecurity industry soon. 😃
🎯 Not much experience to be honest. Apart from a couple of portfolios i deployed to Netlify CMS while learning HTML-CSS, there isn't much to tell.
🎯 Of course i've heard of Headless CMS/Strapi/Jamstack! Just hadn't quite got around to actively try 'em out/work with them.
@thefoss_m
Good luck in your Cybersecurity journey!!
It's going to be a fantastic one :-)
Thank you so much! 😃
Hey Strapi team! I'm Aaron, (@aaronmccollum_ on Twitter) and I like your booth!
I became a developer after learning some HTML for a previous job and loving the process. I find the IT industry really fascinating, and I want to work with others and build some great things with code!
I have used CMS products in the past with blogging - Wordpress, Blogger way back in the day (pre-Google Blogger).
I have never heard of headless CMS tools or Strapi! So this is my first time hearing about it, however I'm going to check out the links above.
Thanks for being here today!
Hello Aaron,
Thank you :-) We also enjoy to have you at our booth.
Blogger brings a lot of memories :-).
Feel free to ask questions if you have some after reading the blog articles.

I have love for software, writing codes, a passion to solve real-time problems which help people around the globe. A3 - I have heard about headless CMS on my twitter feed, but I didn't research further on it since I wanted to focus or JavaScript basics at first. But would love to try out Strapi for my next project, it looks really cool and intuitive

Why did you become a developer?
I spent a few years after college working in state and local parks. While I loved being outdoors for work all day, I knew something was lacking. I missed the challenge that school provided, the thrill of solving problems and the satisfaction of learning how things worked. I had taken some computer science classes at school, and remembered how much I enjoyed the challenge. I decided to jump ship on the path I was on to chase a more mentally demanding path and all it entailed
