also more than happy to answer any questions you have about Jamstack or Headless CMSs
Hey! I am studying Computer Science in college. I want to be a fullstack developer but I'm still exploring various fields where I can give my best to the community.
As soon as I heard the word Jamstack I jumped to the jamstack website to learn more about it. Thanks for your reply.
It's my second open source event and I do love the fact that how interactive the community is to help the beginners.
Nice, all the best with the studies!!
So happy to have helped, the Jamstack is super cool.

Interesting, I encourage you to register in the welcome kit, it would be a great way to join the jamstack ecosystem, headless cms, and detailed tutorials.
Thanks Shada. I tried to register, yet I'm not sure if it was accepted. My email is james.daniel.bain@gmail.com it you could help.
Hello there!! Congrats on the career change, what were you doing before?
Happy to point you in right direction should you need anything!
Thanks Daniel.
I went into tons of debt, got my JD, passed the bar exam, and then realized I did not want to practice law!
Better late than never! How are you liking programming?
I think I became a developer because I love to receive a feedback from a machine after inserting my instructions.
Never used a CMS
Unfortunately not :(

This is a very valid and real reason to become a developer haha, what type of applications are you building by the way?
Not really. However, we regularly post internship opportunities. I would encourage you to keep an eye on our careers page.
I would also suggest to register for job alerts
Why did you become a developer?
--> Because I love making beautiful websites and all the new libraries and frameworks keep me occupied everyday.
What's your content experience, have you used a CMS?
--> I know a little bit of Wordpress but I hate everything about it, it just looks outdated and boring to me.
Have you ever heard of Headless CMS? Strapi?
--> Jamstack tools? Jamstack, headless?? what are these new words I never heard about? 😂 I'm a .NET developer but javascript tech always interests me.
Twitter: twitter.com/wentallout
Haha I love that! Any websites you wanna show off?
Also what library is your favorite at the moment?
haha I have lots of respect for .NET, built a few services with it. What about the CMSs you dislike would you like to see in other CMSs? Also Headless is pretty cool, I'm pretty sure there's a funky .NET CMS out there lol

Why did you become a developer? 💡
I've always been a maker, I have degrees in Fine Arts, and as I explored more digital mediums I was introduced to web development. I wound up really enjoying it and slowly make the shift to working in Software development.
What's your content experience, have you used a CMS? 💬
I have worked with a couple CMSs, I used Strapi to build out a quick prototype, but I's probably need to go through the docs to set something up again.
Have you ever heard of Headless CMS? Strapi? Jamstack tools?
I have heard of Strapi and as I mentioned before I got to play with it, but I am no expert and enjoy exploring new concepts.
Interesting and hows the shift going from Fine arts to software development?
When did you last use Strapi? We have been adding a lot of features and we will be soon release the V4. If you plan on exploring more with Strapi, I'd suggest signing up for the Welcome kit to receive some tutorials and resources to help you get started again.
When I was getting my MFA, I tough a project about collection and while it was rudimentary, the course required the students to present their collection in a web format using iweb, which is what initially got me interested in building web sits, but then I want the sites I was building to do more which led me to learning javascript bit by bit and taking classes to understand a bit more. Hanging out with local meetups, but in my mind there isn't much difference between software development and creating art, because in the end you are still making something that you enjoy.
We've been using NextJS in my current projects, but I'll have to take a look at Strapi again, soon.
Love meetups, great way to learn!
Also Next.js is amazing! We have a tonne of resources on getting started with Next.js and Strapi | one of our popular ones
OH neat! I'll need to take a look at that!
